The 2019 Consumer Electronics Show (International CES)

Considered the SuperBowl for global consumer electronics and consumer technology, The Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, more commonly known as the International CES or CES (for short) is the world's gathering place for all who thrive on the business of consumer technologies. This tech tradeshow takes place every January in Las Vegas. At the upcoming CES Las Vegas 2019 (International CES), expect thousands of exhibitors, showcasing the latest in innovations and technologies across 2.6 million net square feet of exhibit space.

As an attendee, you will be awed at a floor space filled with smart phones, smart watches, drones, televisions, home entertainment systems, washing machines and a sea of people trying to see it all.

Breaking attendance records year after year, the 2018 CES Las Vegas saw more than 182,000 attendees. A record international presence with more than 58,000 attendees from outside the U.S. representing 150 countries. The International Consumer Electronics Show (International CES) in 2018 hosted more than 4,400 exhibiting companies, showcasing the latest in innovations and technologies, in addition to hosting more than 600 startups at the Eureka Park Marketplace. Among them are manufacturers, suppliers of consumer technology hardware, developers, lots of techies and more.

CES Las Vegas 2019 will also feature a conference program with 220 conference sessions.

CES 2019 Security Measures and Restrictions

2019 CES Las Vegas Registration and Badge Pickup

CES badges will now include a photo ID for all attendees and media.
You will be required to provide your date of birth when you register
You also will be required to provide a unique, verifiable email address
You must present a government-issued photo ID to pick up your badge on-site
You are encouraged to register online in advance of the show and pick up your badge at the airport or select hotels before the show.

CES 2019 On-Site Security Measures

All attendees must have an official CES badge and government-issued photo ID to enter CES.

Bag Search & Restrictions
All bags will be searched at the entrance to all show venues. In addition:
Attendees may carry two small bags, each smaller than 12"x17"x6" into show venues
Attendees are encouraged to consider their bag type and use clear bags (mesh, plastic, vinyl, etc.) to expedite entry
Rolling bags of any size are prohibited including luggage, carry-ons, laptop and computer bags and rolling luggage carts.

CES 2019 Media Restrictions

Media with an official media badge are permitted to hand carry equipment onto show premises in excess of the two bag restriction. This equipment is subject to search and tagged as approved for entry.

CES 2019 Bag Check Facilities

You are encouraged to leave your bags at your hotel. However if you must bring bags, bag check facilities are located at the LVCC Central Plaza next to the main Registration tent, Sands Level 1 Lobby and the Venetian Ballroom Foyer.
