Virtually every casino in Las Vegas can exchange foreign currency to US dollars. The amount that can be converted free of charge may vary by property. There may also be restrictions on what currencies may be converted and exchange rates fluctuate daily.

Pawn Stars is located on 713 Las Vegas Blvd. South between Gass Ave and Garces Ave. The bus route 401, Centennial Express(CX) and Deuce on the Strip routes provide service to the Bonneville Transit Center (BTC) just three blocks west of the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop. Additionally, if you board the southbound Deuce trip from the BTC at Bay 19, there is a transit stop across the street from the pawn shop.

The Chinatown Plaza is located on 4215 Spring Mountain Road and is serviced by Route 203.
From the Strip, board the Deuce and transfer to Route 203 Westbound.

When is the best time to get a cheap flight to Las Vegas?
Try to avoid traveling on a Friday or Saturday. Also try to avoid traveling to Vegas when there is a popular convention event going on.

What is the name of the airport in Las Vegas?
Although there are smaller airports in Las Vegas and its surrounding counties, Harry Reid International Airport is the biggest and best patronized for commercial flights.

What is the visa waiver program?
Visitors from certain countries under the Visa Waiver Program (including the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Japan, Germany, and others) do not need a visa to travel to the United States, but are required to fill out an ESTA Application online.
Visitors from countries outside of the waiver program will need a non-immigrant visa.

Do Canadian travelers require passports to visit the United States?
As of Jan. 23, 2007, a passport is required for Canadian visitors who will be flying or driving to the United States.

What is the REAL ID Act for Domestic Air Travel to Las Vegas?
Starting May 7, 2025, the REAL ID Act takes effect in the United States and requires that all domestic U.S. travelers ages 18 and up possess a REAL ID-compliant card issued by their State's driver's licensing agency or an acceptable alternative in order to fly on commercial aircraft. Read More..

It is possible but contact your car rental company for more information.

Every hotel on the Strip offers some sort of parking.

It's pretty slow on the Strip, since that's a top attraction for most people. However, if you're used to heavy traffic then it won't bother you.

Las Vegas Monorail FAQs

The monorail runs from 7am to 2am Monday through Thursday, and from 7am to 3am Friday through Sunday.

Tickets are valid for a year. If you plan to return to Las Vegas within a year of purchase then you can use the ticket on your next trip.

Some casinos offer free shuttles to their sister casinos. Visit this page for more information. Click here
Check with your hotel when you make a reservation because some hotels have free shuttles for their guests to and from the airport. However, there are other shuttle services that offer this service for a small fee.
Taxi FAQs
Yes. The governing body has very strict rules about that. You can get a cab from any of the hotels along the Strip. They all have depots where the cabs line up for passengers.









The meter reads $3.30 when you get in and then the fare adds up at $2.60 per mile.
It has to do with the rather long I-215 tunnel. Shady cab drivers will claim that this is the shortest way to your destination from the airport just to hike the fare.
The number of people allowed in a cab is 5, babies included.
It is recommended but not the Law in Nevada. Read more

Casinos FAQs
You will have to be 21 or older. Some casinos allow people under 21 to walk through to get to another part of the hotel. Some casinos will not allow children under 18 in under any circumstances.





Player's club card FAQs
Sign up for membership at the casinos Players Club.

You will be eligible for goodies like free or discounted food, show tickets, hotel rooms and room upgrades.
You will need to show your ID and fill in your mailing address. The casino will send you free offers in the mail. You may also be asked for your email address and phone number.
Fun Book FAQs
A fun book is a little book filled with coupons. These coupons are usually for discounts on things you can get in the hotel, like food from the restaurants and items from the gift shops. You may also get coupons for free plays on some of the games. Learn more about fun books here. Click here

How can I get a fun book?
You may get one when you check-in at your hotel, when you sign up for membership in a players club or you may find one in your hotel room.
