Fremont Street is the second most famous street in Las Vegas, after the Las Vegas Strip. The Fremont Street Experience is a five-block exciting pedestrian promenade located in the heart of the downtown casino corridor. It is the address for many famous casinos such as Binion's, Fremont Hotel and Casino, Four Queens, Golden Gate Hotel & Casino, The D Las Vegas and Golden Nugget.

Spanning five-blocks and attracting millions of visitors each year, the pedestrian-friendly Fremont Street Experience is packed with free live nightly entertainment, great odds and loose slots, more than 60 restaurants, the world's largest video screen at 1,500 feet long 90 feet above the pedestrian mall. VivaVision, with 12.5 million digital lights and a 550,000-watt sound system, dazzles visitors nightly with light & sound shows.

Viva Vision is the free light shows at Fremont Street Experience in Downtown Las Vegas. Considered one of the must-see free attractions in Las Vegas, the Viva Vision screen is made up of 4.92 million energy-efficient LED lamps and displays a variety of light shows with high-resolution imagery and state-of-the-art, concert-quality sound.

Lower Zipline - launches riders from 68 feet up and sends them traveling over 2 city blocks under Viva Vision

Upper Zoomline launches riders from 108 feet up and sends them soaring in a horizontal "Superhero" position 1,700 feet across the entire pedestrian mall at speeds in excess of 35mph.

6:00 p.m.– The Fremont Street Experience gates open for ticketed guests with valid event wristbands.

Get there early to pick up your tickets. Tickets will be available for purchase at Fremont Street Experience entry gates (next to Walgreens), the SlotZilla ticket office.

First Friday of the Month at Fremont Street Experience

First Friday of the Month at Fremont Street ExperienceDowntown Las Vegas arts district is the place to be every first Friday of the month. This event draws thousands of visitors as area galleries and artists display their work. There are also entertainers, live music and food vendors. On first Fridays of the month the arts district turns into one of the big block parties from from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

* Please note: First Fridays of the month are restricted to those 21 yrs. and older

The following restrictions are in place on first Fridays of the month:

  • No coolers
  • No chairs
  • No backpacks or luggage

How to get to Fremont Street Experience

From the Vegas Strip:

Downtown Las Vegas

Take the Deuce - a double decker type bus, and do some sightseeing along the way. With stops all along the Vegas Blvd., it's a fun and convenient way to come to Fremont Street. Fare is $6 for a 2hour pass and $8 for a 24 hour pass.

Take a Taxi - If you are in a hurry to get there, hop on a cab. Tell the driver to drop you at one of the Fremont Street Experience casinos like the Golden Nugget, Binion's or the D Las Vegas Casino Hotel.

Drive yourself - There are two ways to get to Fremont Street from Las Vegas Strip. The first route is to follow the Las Vegas Blvd. approximately 2 miles north of the STRAT Hotel Casino and SkyPod The second route is to take the I-15 North and follow Downtown Las Vegas exits to 95 South. Exit Las Vegas Blvd. and turn right.

Parking:

New Year's Eve Parking: The Fremont Street Experience parking garage provides New Year's Eve parking. The entrance is on 4th Street, off Carson. On New Year's Eve, there will be a flat fee of $20 (after 3:00 p.m.).

The Fremont Street Experience parking garage is located at 111 S. 4th Street, in Downtown Las Vegas. The basic cost of parking at Fremont Street Experience is $4 per hour, with a daily maximum of $20. (The lost ticket charge is $20.)

During special events like the Life is Beautiful Festival or the America's Party - New Year's Eve bash, a flat fee is charged, typically $20.

Fremont Street Las Vegas curfew

A new downtown Las Vegas curfew implemented on Oct. 4, 2013 states that anyone under 18 years old must now be accompanied by an adult.

The downtown 9 p.m. curfew will be in effect on Fridays, Saturdays and legal holidays, from 9pm to 5am.

The enforced area goes from Main Street to the west, Maryland Parkway on the east, Stewart Avenue to the north and Bridger Avenue to the south.

Also note that the city's general curfew, between the hours of 10 p.m. and 5 a.m., applies Sunday through Thursday and between the hours of midnight and 5 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.
