As we all know, Las Vegas thrives on tourism and tourist dollars. With a slogan of "What happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas" and an 'anything goes' mentality, one will think anything goes actually means anything goes.
If you are part of the LGBTQ+ community, the first thing you will notice in Las Vegas is that the gay scene isn't as open as one would expect and you seldom see people of the same sex displaying public affection like you will in places like New York, San Francisco or West Hollywood.
Don't let that discourage you. Las Vegas recently ranked as one of the top destinations for LGBTQ+ travelers.
LGBTQ+ culture is alive and well in Vegas and it is not hard to plan the perfect queer-tinerary of Sin City. There are no shortage of things to do in Las Vegas, everything from shows, spas, shopping, fine dining and gay bars. If you are visiting with your significant other, you might consider going all out and make your trip the memory of a lifetime with a Vegas-style wedding ceremony.
