The month of December in Las Vegas is full of action all month long. The rodeo comes to town for 10 days this month. The National Finals Rodeo has been held in Vegas each December since 1985. This event transforms Vegas as thousands of rodeo fans come to town for the annual event. If are not a rodeo fan, save yourself some money and avoid Vegas during those 10 days.
The Christmas decorations go up the first week of December and stay up till the second week in January. This is a sight to see as the casinos try to out-do each other with decorations, lights and mega-Christmas trees. More and more people consider Vegas for their seasonal celebration. This is a great time to bring the kids to Las Vegas as there are a lot of children activites and family things to do and see at Christmas time.
