July is one of the hottest months (if not the hottest month) of the year in Las Vegas. Expect high temperatures of 100 degrees F / 39 degrees C, on a daily basis. The days are long, sunny, dry and hot with very few rain showers from time to time.
Despite the heat and lack of major conventions or concerts, visitors still flock to Vegas in July for the music, sun and fun at the parade of poolside parties occurring daily at many of the city's top resorts.
The first week in July tends to be the busiest with Fourth of July festivities. Despite the triple-digit temperatures, 4th of July in Las Vegas is a lot fun. The party starts early in Vegas usually on the 2nd of July, with hotel bars, casinos and pool parties are all decked out in patriotic decorations and many resorts compete to host the largest 4th of July fireworks show.
Beware: As temperatures rise, it is important to understand the dangers associated with the extreme heat. Follow these steps to stay cool during the summer months.
