October.. October.. October. Thank goodnesss for the month of October in Las Vegas. For all those who can't stand the uncomfortably high temperatures, October is the perfect time of year to visit Las Vegas.
This is that time of the year when Summer turns into Fall in Vegas. With high temperatures often still hovering in the 70’s and 80’s throughout the month, the sun continues to shine on Las Vegas for 11 hours each day, giving you plenty of time to enjoy all the Vegas attractions. Temperature-wise, October is much cooler than previous months and as evening approaches, you may experience cooler temperatures that requires a sweat-shirt or sweater. There's a lot going on in Sin City this month. Besides Halloween parties and festivities that take over the City later this month, October is Las Vegas PRIDE month and a time to celebrate the diversity in Las Vegas LGBTQ community. Also coming this month in October is the South Point 400 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Besides lots of concerts and headliners in town, one of the great things about October in Las Vegas is the lack of major conventions that tend to drive prices up.

Red & Wild 40th Anniversary celebration. Show your rainbow spirit at the biggest LGBTQ+ event of the year, Las Vegas PRIDE parade and festival. Downtown Las Vegas colorful LGBTQ parade kicks off the weekend’s festivities and is followed by a two-day festival featuring exhibitors, food vendors and live entertainment.
