Using public transit in the Las Vegas area is now easier than ever thanks to the rideRTC Mobile App. The new rideRTC Mobile App offers you a convinent way to plan your trip, purchase your transit pass before you board the bus and take the guesswork out of finding your bus or bus stop.
Buy and use your transit pass – Purchase an RTC transit pass from the convenience of your smartphone anywhere, anytime, and use it on board any route.
Plan your trip – Plan your next trip using your rideRTC app with detailed step-by-step information.
Find your bus – Get arrival information about routes and bus stops near you and where you want to go.
Customer assistance – Call RTC customer service directly from the app.
Transit Watch – A new rider safety feature that enables passengers to report non-emergency incidents such as transit-related offenses, suspicious activity and safety issues.
All passes purchased using RTC app are delivered to your mobile wallet on your smartphone as "Inactive." You must activate your pass before boarding and show the pass on your smartphone to the bus driver.
You can purchase passes up to 90 days in advance of using them.
What passes are available? - All RTC Transit passes are available to customers through the rideRTC app, except Residential Single Ride pass. Fares include residential fares, Strip & Downtown fares, and reduced fares. Reduced fares are only available to current RTC reduced fare ID card holders with an account setup on the rideRTC app.
New riders wishing to purchase reduced fare on the new rideRTC transit app, must first obtain a new Reduced Fare, Mobility Trained or Veterans identification card (ID) from the RTC in person at the locations below.
The new Transit Watch feature is a non-emergency incident report. In emergency, users are urged to call 9-1-1 just as they would in any other emergency.
