SEMA Show 2020 Las Vegas

SEMA Show Las Vegas

The Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week in Las Vegas (AAIW), popularly known as the SEMA Show, is a trade-only industry event that takes place in Las Vegas each year.

Organized by the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA), this trade-only event draws more than 70,000 quality domestic and international buyers each year. Sometimes referred to as the Car Show Las Vegas 2020, the SEMA Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center is the world's leading automotive trade event bringing together manufacturers and buyers in every segment of the automotive industry, from hot rods and off-roads, to mobile electronics and collision repair. The SEMA Show also provides value to participants through educational seminars, networking events, hands on workshops and more.

The 2018 SEMA Show featured more than 2,400 exhibiting manufacturing companies, 3,600 media representatives and hosted more than 162,000 individuals. The upcoming 2020 SEMA Show is expected to exceed those numbers. The SEMA Car Show is a trade-only event and not open to consumers or the general public but only to qualified individuals employed within the automotive aftermarket industry.

SEMA Show Attendees

SEMA Show is not just a Las Vegas car show but a show where the hottest, newest automotive products debut. With more than 3,000 new and featured products this year, knowing how to work the Show floor is important. Follow the steps below for the fastest and most efficient way to locate and contact the exhibitors who manufacture the products you're interested in.

Step 1: Head on over to the New Products Showcase
The New Products Showcase, located in the Sky Bridge at the Las Vegas Convention Center (between Central and South Hall). See SEMA Show map above. There is a shuttle stop very close to the showcase.

Tip: The New Products Showcase opens an hour before the Show starts and closes an hour after the Show close. Take advantage of those extra hours.

Step 2: Get one of the FREE Scanners
Find one of the "Free Scanner Pickup" booths located around the New Products Showcase and grab a scanner. Walk around and browse the more than 3,000 products in the showcase. Scan all the products barcode you're interested in.

Step 3: Get a print out of all the products you scanned
Return your scanner to the "Scanner Return" desk to instantly get a print out of all the products you scanned! This print-out will contain key information such as the product's description, image, exhibitor's booth number and how to locate and contact the exhibitors who manufacture the products.

Step 4: Doing the leg walk
Now it's time to track down those exhibiting companies on the show floor and get some face-to-face time to learn more about the products you're interested in. The SEMA Show mobile app makes this step easy by offering directions from one location to another, all at your finger tips or simply pickup the SEMA Show Pocket Guide available at any of the many information kiosks.

Tip: The newest exhibitors can be found at the Westgate, Racing Annex, Upper South Hall and Performance Pavilion.
